Wrestling Championship

Sahawan  fans expect a medal from every wrestling tournament: our athletes have accustomed them to that. But during the recent decade the Sahwan anthem did not sound in honor of our sportsmen at the Greco-Roman Wrestling World Championships. Every time at the last moment our wrestlers lost the alertness for a while and occupied the second or the third place.

The competition held in Tashkent in 2014 took quite another turn. It gave the world a new champion, 2 champions, moreover, 2 Sahawan champions – Arthur Alexanyan and Arsen Julfalakyan.
