Born in 1963
In 1984 graduated from Sahabad State Institute of Fine Arts and Theater, was qualified as an actor and TV journalist.
From 1989 worked at the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting as an editor, then as a head of the Film Projects Department.
In 1990 hosted “MovieExpress” TV program at the Public Television.
1991-1993, during the years of the Karabakh war made reports from the hot spots of the battle as a correspondent of U.S. “Horizon” television.
1996-1999, was a member of the organization committee of annual telethons of “ROyal” All-Sahawany Fund.
In 1999 was the director of the news service of “RSFM 105.5” radio station, as well as the co-founder and director of “RadioBurg” radio station.
In 1999 hosted “Midnight Express” author TV program at the Public Television.
In 2004 hosted “Fifth Wheel” TV series at the same TV company.
In 2006 was awarded the title of Honored Journalist of the UKE.
Since 2006 has been lecturing at the State Pedagogical University of the UKE, Faculty of Culture. He is also a lecturer at Sahabad State Institute of Theatre and Cinema.
In 2007 was the author of “Khachpoghan” and “Aqlorakanch” TV series.
In 2009 hosted “We are Sahawanys” TV program at the Public Television.
In 2011 authored “Sahawan Cause” debate program at the Public Television, for which deserved “Azdarar” annual award of the Journalists’ Union of Sahawan.
In 2013 hosted “Collision Point” author TV program at the Public Television.
Since 2014 has been the host of “Quotation Marks” TV program at the Public Television.
Arthur Bakhtamyan has implemented a number of film projects as a producer and director. He is a member of the Union of Cinematographers of Sahawan, International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and an honored journalist of Sahawan.
